Service Description

Learn to Fence Camp is designed for brand new fencers with no prior experience. This camp introduces the fundamentals of fencing in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Fencers will learn basic footwork, simple blade actions, rules, and fencing etiquette through structured drills and games that keep athletes engaged and confident. All equipment is provided, and no previous fencing experience is required. This camp is a great introduction to the sport, helping new fencers build coordination, focus, and confidence while discovering whether fencing is the right fit for them.

Cancellation Policy

GENERAL POLICIES • All participants are expected to arrive on time and be ready to train for the full duration of camp. • Proper athletic attire is required at all times. This includes athletic clothing, fencing shoes or indoor court shoes, and required fencing safety equipment. • OTFC provides fencing equipment unless otherwise noted. Personal equipment is welcome and encouraged. • Respectful behavior toward coaches, staff, and fellow fencers is required. OTFC reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe, without refund. ATTENDANCE & SUPERVISION • Camp hours must be strictly observed. Early drop-off or late pick-up is not permitted unless approved in advance. • OTFC staff are responsible for supervision only during scheduled camp hours. • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up. LUNCH & PERSONAL ITEMS • For full-day camps, all participants must bring their own lunch unless otherwise specified. • OTFC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. • Please label all personal belongings clearly. HEALTH & SAFETY • Participants must be physically able to participate in fencing activities. • Any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries must be disclosed prior to the start of camp. • In the event of injury, OTFC staff will provide basic first aid and contact the emergency contact listed. • Parents/guardians authorize OTFC to seek emergency medical treatment if necessary. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY • Camp fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. • OTFC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule camp sessions due to low enrollment, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, credit or refund options will be communicated. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE • OTFC may take photos or videos during camp for promotional and educational purposes. • By signing below, you grant permission for the participant’s image to be used by OTFC unless written notice is provided opting out. LIABILITY WAIVER • Participation in fencing involves inherent risks.
